Heritage Design——Bowl Set
This bowl set is about my family history and Chinese
Culture. I was trying to combine the abstracted movements of Taiji boxing with the Chinese opera and the culture of Chinese food.
This bowl set is an interpretation of what I believe the stages of life are. The form represents the
positions within the Chinese Opera and Taiji Boxing movements.
Illustrator Render Watch Design
Refresh Design of Queen of Couture Collection
This project was a two weeks design project for Juicy Couture watches--Queen of Couture Collection refresh design.
This collection was all designed in Illustrator. Based on "Queen" themes, I was totally inspired by the movie "Maleficent". This movie gave me a different perspective of a queen story. Based on the story line, I designed 5 different watches to represent "Maleficent" different stages in her life. Each themes represent the transition between innocent girl to a queen.
There is pure, love, depressed, loss and rebirth. All these movements created the Queen Maleficent.
Three concepts for Dynacraft company which are Princess Carriage, 12 Volts Wagon and Big Time Baja.
My original concept for Dynacraft is Pumpkin car for girls market. Every girl has a dream about being princess and waiting for her Mr. RIGHT no matter how old she is. This car creates a feeling of " on my way" to see my prince.
Then we developed Pumpkin concept to Princess Carriage to created more feeling of princess. It has big potential and opportunity on the market, specifically when aimed at the demographic of little girls.
Finally， Here we go！
Dynacraft decided keep my original design--Round Shape Carriage. It is my first product on shelves and I couldn't have asked for a more awesome and talented group of people to work with on this project! Love it! And it is on list of TOP 10 HOTTEST TOY 2016!

Tracking Living Activities
Eating habits are one of the most important factors for health. However, there are no products that show proper eating habit process.
Even though there are some ways for people to get advise such as personal trainer, they are often times too expensive and inconvenient.
E-smart can track eating habits through scanning grocery shopping receipts and giving a personalized dietary suggestions and health report. Also, it can test how fresh the food is and recommend recipe depends on what you have in refrigerator.
Cloudbuddy
CloudBuddy is a new concept for pre-schoolers that provide education and companionship. It tells stories, sings songs and also answers questions. Wave your hands and touch CloudBuddy to interact with it. It will make facial expressions and it will be much happier to share knowledge with you.

Contextal Research
In this contextual research project, we were interested in exploring and understanding the culture of pet rescue in Savannah, GA. We researched the different organizations and shelters in this area, as well as speaking with individuals who own pets and volunteers who work with animals; in order to understand the motivations behind their actions.
The scope of project is understand and define the culture of pet rescue in Savannah, the relationship between animals, humans, and organizations, and the motivations of abandonment. There are many activities that are involved in these three parties such as purchasing, adopting and caring.
