This bowl set is about my family history and Chinese
Culture. I was trying to combine the abstracted movements of Taiji boxing with the Chinese opera and the culture of Chinese food.
This bowl set is an interpretation of what I believe the stages of life are. The form represents the
positions within the Chinese Opera and Taiji Boxing movements.
